Honoring Nature’s
Wisdom Retreat
October 8th - 12th, 2025 | with HEATHER BERG
Immerse yourself in a restful and rejuvenating experience this fall with a 4-night, 5-day retreat designed to inspire awe, foster reflection, and nurture renewal. As the vibrant colors of autumn reflect the cycles of change and transformation, you’ll explore how your inner nature mirrors the beauty and rhythms of the natural world.
Ground yourself through daily yoga, breathwork, and meditation, while cultivating a deeper connection to your body and the present moment. You will enrich your stay with hydrotherapy, hiking, forest bathing, all inviting you to sync with the tranquil rhythm of the forest.
Meals are curated with care to nourish both body and soul. A chef will prepare daily lunches and dinners, while your kitchen will be stocked with your favorite breakfast foods and freshly baked breads, ensuring a cozy and personalized dining experience.
Set in a hollow at 3,000 feet, in a temperate rainforest, Firecreek Retreat, hosted by Christy and Gavin McKenzie, features exquisitely appointed cabins, outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor sauna, and a cold plunge. There's even a barn, greenhouse, livestock and gardening!
I hope you’ll join me for this unique opportunity to honor nature’s wisdom, cultivate inner harmony, and return home feeling deeply connected and inspired.

Meet Heather Berg…
Heather Berg, a certified Yoga, meditation, and Buteyko Breathing Method Instructor based in South Florida, has been exploring various ancient yoga and meditation traditions since 1991. In 2012, she began teaching full-time, creating holistic yoga sessions. Heather is dedicated to fostering self-awareness in her clients, encouraging them to become discerning practitioners capable of integrating information independently. Leading private and group classes, including Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Stand-Up Paddleboard yoga, she is a sought-after instructor at festivals, corporate events, therapy groups, and retreats worldwide. Introduced to the Buteyko Breathing method in 2020, Heather pursued training with Dr Buteyko’s protégé, Patrick McKeown. Now she infuses this functional breath practice, witnessing positive transformations in her own health as well as among her clients. Heather also developed the corporate wellness program "Practice to Pause," leveraging evidence-based mindfulness tools for enhanced well-being. Heather prioritizes listening to individual goals and circumstances, guiding others to thrive through the transformative combination of movement, breathwork, and meditation. Welcome to Firecreek
We purchased the property in 2021, in an effort to both heal ourselves, and as small offering to help heal the planet. Aside from our small family unit enjoying the magical land here, our aim is to share it with others, by way of hosting retreats, workshops, and short term rentals. Retreats include yoga and meditation, leadership, art, photography and nature immersion, fly fishing and hiking, as well culinary, foraging, and regenerative agriculture.
